In time, information technology is starting to get a positive response from the public, many of the benefits that we have experience with the creation of technologies that can provide ease in daily life. Any form of activity or occupation is almost always requires technology for smooth activity. Can not be denied that the current technology can be used in the field of promotion to develop and introduce an attempt..
Pagerjurang village of bayat klaten region which has ceramic craft business, because most residents there as artisans of ceramics, in running the business most still use the manual way to do the promotion. The utilization of the technology has not been touched at all so there is still difficulty in extending the areas of the promotion efforts. This led to the development of a less than optimal because most people don't know about the image of ceramic production.
With the existence of the problems, the researchers took the titles “Flash-Based Web Design As A Means Of Promotion (case study: the craft of pottery in Pagerjurang Bayat Klaten )”. Besides website design this would support and ease in product promotion craft in Pagerjurang Bayat Klaten for the sake of the business progress.
