A B S T R A C T

There is no denying that making 2D animations is very tiring, because each frame must be drawn one by one. But with the rapid development of technology, there is an opportunity to make 2D animation easier. Creating and coloring for characters
and backgrounds can be done digitally which is easier to modify. Even making 2D animation can be done by a smaller team and less cost.

Chili contains nutrients needed for human health such as protein, fat, carbohydrates, phosphorus, vitamins and also has alkaloid compounds, one of which is capsaicin. Capsaicin is a substance that causes spicy flavor in chili found in chili seeds andplacenta in chili. The spicy taste is useful for regulating blood circulation, strengthening the heart, pulse and nerves. And also when humans eat chilies, human expressions look like tortured and tears.Therefore chili is chosen as the main character for the concept of the story that has been made by the author.

The author takes this technique in visualizing the story so that the message contained in the story is well conveyed and also entertaining for the general public. For this reason, the writer makes a simple 2D animation film titled "Chili" with a frame by frame technique.
