PERBANDINGAN DENGAN METODE LOAD BALANCING PEER CONNECTION CLASSIFIER (PCC) DAN NTH UNTUK QOS

A B S T R A C T

Nowadays the internet has become a very important need for all levels of society in the world, this has led to the increasing demand for information needs on the internet, so that traffic on the internet is increasingly congested by requests for information. Especially on a network that has a small bandwidth, this will greatly disrupt network traffic that can cause internet connection lines to be cut off. One solution that can be used to maintain the quality of an internet connection by keeping traffic running balanced and saving bandwidth is to divide the load into multiple paths or links using load balancing techniques. Load balancing methods that are currently frequently used are the PCC or Peer Connection Classifier method and the Nth method.

The Load Balancing method with PCC and Nth is used to analyze which method works more optimally. This implementation is implemented on the proxy router that is connected between dial up, switch and modem as the hardware. The load balancing system is useful for users who tend to be more admin in order to minimize the breakdown of internet network connections caused by damage from the ISP server.

Comparison between the PCC load balancing method with Nth will use the QoS method, where in QoS it can see several parameters namely Througput, Delay, Jitter, Packet Loss.
