ANALISA DAN PEMBUATAN FILM PENDEK ANIMASI 2D WHAT MAKES A HERO

A B S T R A C T

2 dimensional frame by frame animation technique, is the oldest animation technique that is currently experiencing rapid development. The frame by frame technique initially uses paper, then arranged to produce a complete animation. As technology develops, frame by frame animation is made digitally and is able to use the axis x, y and z as rotation movements.

This allows the animation of frame by frame to be able to display visual illusions of expressive scenes and angles such as scenes of twisting dancers, people fighting, falling from height, or other scenes. With the current techniques and technology, errors in the process of making animation can be minimized.

In the 2D animated film concept “What Makes A Hero” there is a scene in the character of High School Boy and his Alter Ego in the form monsters have an interaction. The concept story is possible to take picture with the live shoot technique, so the author uses 2-dimensional animation with frame by frame technique. And with a mature storyline, this film is expected to foster understanding to make a change in oneself that requires strong determination.
