RANCANG BANGUN ALAT PENDETEKSI GAS LPG BERBASIS INTERNET OF THINGS MENGGUNAKAN PHOTON PARTICLE

A B S T R A C T

Indonesian people as users of LPG gas cylinders are increasing year by year. This situation occurs because the government has implemented a conversion program from kerosene to LPG gas. Thus the increasing number of users of LPG gas is increasing, not separated from the security gas. From several factors, many were issued fake gas cylinders without the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) logo, then from the gap between the tube and regulator or also called the seal that had been damaged because the insulation between the tube mouth and regulator did not emit the LPG gas. Then the quality of the tube is the increasing number of users of LPG gas cylinders.

In designing this tool, to apply the presence and absence of LPG gas using the MQ-2 sensor which is already widely used in the market, as a controller and data processor using the Photon Particle which is part of using Internet Of Things technology.

Currently the author makes an LPG gas detector to notify LPG gas users if there is a gas leak through messages that will be sent via the LINE application.
