A B S T R A C T

The use of information media at this time, especially in video media, provides a special attraction. This is because the video has special characteristics, namely a combination of images, sound and motion. Because of the visual nature and the combination of colors, sounds and movements, the video media looks vivid and real. Therefore the message conveyed attracted the attention of the audience.

Water Byur is a bathing tourist object in the Sumber Ponjong Complex, Ponjong, Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region. Water Byur which was once known as Sumber has transformed into a Ponjong Village mainstay tourism object. Water Byur itself is still lacking in advertising. The management of water byur objects is still felt to be less effective in advertising, so it is necessary to make a way of advertising using video media.

Based on the description above the author takes the title of Designing Ads on Gunungkidul Water Byur Tourism Using live shoot and motion graphic Techniques. The video results are shown and advertised on Youtube. Video of Water Byur ads are made using live shoot and motion graphic techniques.
