A B S T R A C T

The internet is one of the most important needs in human life, especially in the field of education. SMK Negeri 2 Klaten is an educational institution located in Senden, Ngawen, Klaten and has ± 958 students and ± 128 teaching teachers. Every day the internet is used to send e-mail, browse, download / upload materials and applications that support teaching and learning activities.

Therefore, it is necessary to have an arrangement on the existing bandwidth consumption. As a network admin we only need to fill in the target address with the client computer's IP then we determine the bandwidth allocated to that user. Problems arise if it turns out that the user that we handle is a user with a considerable amount as in SMK Negeri 2 Klaten. Not to mention if the user is dynamic. One of the proxy features that can be used to overcome this problem is PCQ (Per Connection Queue) is one way to do bandwidth management that works with an algorithm that will divide bandwidth evenly into a number of active clients.

The final results of this study are measured by the parameters of Throughput, Delay (latency), Jitter (Package Arrival Variation) and Packet Loss. The test results in this study were carried out during rush hour traffic, namely at school hours and school breaks.
