Pesantren as a religious educational institution is a reality that can not be denied. Throughout the history of its path, boarding schools continued to pursue the field of religious education and made it a focus of activity. In developing education, boarding schools have shown considerable resilience so that the firm is able to bypass various times with various problems it faces.
One of the kitab kuning is taught in schools is a Jurumiyah Nahwu science. Matan book "Aj-Jurumiyah" is a basic book in Science Nahwu, essay Abdulloh Abu Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Dawud al-Shonhajie Rohimahulloh. However, lately the way the material kitab kuning received criticism from students of education, because it has a weakness and lack of fit with the view of modern education system is student centered. Teaching kitab kuning, both wetonan and sorogan, have methodological weaknesses of which is when the absence of dialogue between students and clerics, students become passive. Teaching and learning activities centered on the clerics. Finally, the power of creativity and activity of students to be weak and in this case, the clerics also did not immediately gain feedback on the mastery of the material presented.
In this thesis, the author tries to make media applications Nahwu learning about science by using softwares such as Macromedia Director and its supporting software. So this application can be used as a means of delivery Nahwu subject at Pondok Pesantren Al Munawwir Bantul, Jogjakarta.
