A B S T R A C T

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever is a disease found in children and adults with the main symptoms of fever, joint muscle pain that usually worsens after the first two days. Dengue fever is one of the diseases caused by dengue virus and is transmitted through the bite of Aedes Aegepty and Aedes Albopictus mosquitoes. There are several types of dengue fever that need to be wary among other Dengue Fever, Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever and Dengue Shock Syndrome. These three febrile illnesses have similar symptoms, so many medical personnel and doctors who often make mistakes in detecting and lack of knowledge about the symptoms of dengue fever is often too late to be detected.

This web-based expert system is designed to produce dengue fever detection. From this system can also provide information about dengue fever and the type of fever suffered. This expert system is built using forward chaining reasoning methods by producing one illness that is suffered with treatment. The design of this expert system using PHP programming language using text editor Sublime Text and database storage using MySQL. With the web-based expert system is expected to help people provide information and diagnose early dengue fever, and can help the task of a doctor or expert.
