Hotspot technology allows user and group management processes on a WiFi wireless service. SMK Negeri 1 Pogalan is already integrated with internet in all its services. The security of the hotspot system still uses the WPA2-PSK method in the absence of user management in its hotspot system causing some problems.

In this study the authors implement External Radius Server, this technology provides the ability AAA (Administration,
Accounting, Authentication) in real-time. System managers are able to manage bandwidth capacity, access hours, and access locations from WiFi services. Along with the development of the application of this technology, the system manager encountered several obstacles when managing many users.

This study collaborated freeradius and radiudesk as external radius servers for user and group management. By using external radius security and remote user management will be more well integrated and resource management of the router is not too heavy in accommodating users and run many services.
