IMPLEMENTASI SMART KONTROL PADA SLIDER KAMERA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MIKROKONTROLER ARDUINO UNO

A B S T R A C T

Nowadays, the technological advancements provide a great deal of convenience to the public, especially in the field of photography and videography, to create a stable moving image required by a slider tool. The function of the slider is to smooth the shots moving and also stable, but the slider is still moved manually using human power of course this becomes a problem if the shooting in a long time, so the result of the image is not maximal, because the slider movement depends on the user power.

Therefore for the addition in a stepper motor itself can help the slider move and to adjust the slider movement needed a tool which are called microcontroller. In this research using Arduino Uno to control all existing devices on the slider, such as stepper motor 12v, 5v stepper motor, relay, bluetooth hc-05 and android smartphone as device controller. Other than that, the slider is equipped with several features such as the left or right slider movement, the camera rotates left or right to 360 ° degrees, the slider moves left or right while the camera is rotating, the camera can take pictures, timelapse and hyperlapse features, the presence of features can make easier for users to control the slider.

The results of this research all components work as expected, but there are some shortcomings in the slider device, using linear bearings as wheels for the slider holder requires the slider rails to be clean of dust, otherwise the movement of the slider holder is not smooth, the use of stainless steel as rail making the slider feel heavier than the slider in general and the video recording becomes disrupted due to the sound of bending between the linear bearing and stainless steel on the slider also the sound generated by the stepper motor.
