A B S T R A C T

On a computer network system, the router has a role to accommodate how the data packets are organized and modified in accordance with the needs of the router, and the router can connect different networks between networks with one another network. the process of sending packets from a device and transmitting over a network to another device in a different network is called routing. There are several routing mechanisms that can be used, including static routing and dynamic routing.

Static routing is a manual routing arrangement done by the network administrator, where the router has a static routing table. While dynamic routing learns itself the best route it will take to forward packets from one network to another.

In this study the authors perform a static routing performance comparison analysis and dynamic routing on WiFi network, which is expected to provide a solution to a network administrator to be able to choose one of the routing techniques in implementing infrastructure planning jarinngan in accordance with needs.
