ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN RESPON TIME DAN JARAK DRI SEBUAH SENSOR MENGGUNAKAN ICMP DENGAN INFRARED

A B S T R A C T

Need of people for the faster and automatic device increases and it gradually shifts the manual device. An automatic device operates by itself without operating control of the user.

The  automatic device commonly used is automatic lamp switch which will be turned on automatically in certain condition, then it will be turned off when the certain condition is not met. The automatic switch needs a censor, and an available recent study shows the one using infrared censor which of the device continously checks whether the certain condition needed to turn on the switch is met. When the certain condition is met, the censor will transfer the signal to the machine to turn on the switch connected.

Based on the theory above, a censor using ICMP-ping based system which of it will be compared to the current infrared censor in terms of time and space response will be developed. Then, ICMP censor which will be developed and compared to the infrared one is expected to be more responsive related to the time response and distant detection for the space aspect.
