APLIKASI KAMUS BAHASA LAMAHOLOT DAN INFORMASI BUDAYA ADONARA BERBASIS ANDROID

A B S T R A C T

The development of technology and information is happening very quickly, especially in the field of Android-based mobile application development. Android is an operating system that provides an open platform for developers to create  applications and can distribute them. In this case I intend to develop the application of local language dictionary and Adonarabased cultural information Android, because there has been no previous application then it can be used as a
medium of introduction and learning about lamaholot regional language and information buadya on adonara island.

Various steps taken to make this application among others is to perform various needs analysis and system design that has been classified. Then use the design process using UML, interface design that will be applied next in game maker studio to be made final software. The method used is multimedia development method that includes the concept stage, design, collecting materials, assembly, testing and distribution. The software used is Game Maker Studio and other supporting software such as CorelDraw, Adobe Photoshop and Game Maker Language as supporting scripts.

In designing this application, it is expected to potentially alleviate or benefit the user in adding comprehension and searching vocabulary terms in from Indonesian to Lamaholot or vice versa, as well as with additional features that display cultural information in adonara so as to increase understanding for users.
