A B S T R A C T

In buying and selling of fish seeds, the process of calculating the seeds is one of the most important factors, whether it is the process of calculating the number of fish seeds that will be placed in the pond or in packing for sale to the consumer. But in reality this process is very complained by the fish seed traders or the breeders of fish enlargement, it is because at the time of doing the calculation they are still using conventional way of counting one by one using the hand, so in the process to spend a lot of energy and requires high accuracy. Given this problem, that is how we can design fish counting equipment based on electronic devices, sensors, arduino and provide another alternative in accounting of the number of fish seeds automatically.

The main components of this tool are Arduino Uno, LCD, Optocoupler Sensor, Push Button. This tool is equipped with Arduino Uno as a series of input and output controllers, optocoupler sensors to detect the number of fish seeds, LCD as the number of calculated seeds, Push Button as the key media for the output chain. Process calculation based on fish seed through sensor then data processed by microcontroller to know the final result.
