A B S T R A C T

Advertising is a means of supporting the promotion media. Advertising on television media is a combination of visual and audio elements. The main discussion in this thesis is about the visual message delivered through the visual elements used in television advertising. The visual element is an important stimulus or suggestion for the message event and the goal the producer wants to reach the target market.

Advertising is important in terms of introducing or promoting a public or consumer product. An advertisement aimed at the general public, especially those aired through television advertising rides with ethical vulnerabilities contained in the Book of Ethics of Indonesian advertisement.

Promotion media is this advertising video for promotion and manufacture of Building materials shop Bj Home for public. In addition, ads can attract the senses and attract interest, because it is a combination of many media such as images, sound, and text, so that with multimedia companies can convey information about the company well.
